New year – new me? The new year is here and it’s time to start taking some action. Now I will start exercising, eating healthier, getting more active, getting in shape and reaching my goals. The New Year’s promise is made in the sign of health and you are ready to get started? In the profession as PT, trainer and coach, you see this every year. The gym is filled with new people, the treadmills spin non-stop, the weighlifting-rooms and training groups are fully booked. It is actually absolutely fantastic to see and it warms my hearth to see that so many have taken that step towards a healthier life and lifestyle. But you only get to know them so much that you find out that their cat is called ”Thorsten” before they miraculously, after only a few weeks, disappear … this year again.
What is going on? Why does it not last longer than a few weeks? What are they missing?
